Disaster Preparness Committee
With the large increase in disaster awareness and planning, the City of Beacon has formed it's own disaster preparnes committee. The committee serves as the city's emergency management organization. It includes members of the city, fire department, police department, ambulance corps, and citizens. The objective of the committee is to make sure it's citizens are aware of the procedures incase of a city-wide disaster. It is also responsible for planning how the city will handle disasters. The following are some resources and information provided by this group.
