DUTCHESS JUNCTION (3 Oct 04) - Rescue 1 (33-55) was dispatched to a borderline call along with Dutchess Junction Fire to a serious auto accident on Rt 9D (City Arterial) on the city line. Upon arrival, companies found a head on auto accident with 1 person trapped just south of the city line. City of Beacon Rescue 1 (33-55) performed extrication of the patient from the vehicle which was transported via medevac (Stat Flight Air 2). The patient later died in the hospital.
