BEACON (4 July 04)  - At about 6:45PM, the Glenham Fire District was dispatched for a possible drowning just north of the Groveville Dam. Upon arrival they found the incident actually occurred downstream in the City of Beacon at the Groveville Dam. The incident was then turned over to the City of Beacon. Assistance came from the Hughsonville Fire Department Dive Rescue Team and Glenham Fire District at the scene.
