BEACON (6 June 05) - On Monday, June 6, a city police officer discovered what appeared to be a body on a Fishkill Creek Dam near Main and Verplanck. Police then immediately called for fire to recover the body. Upon arrival, Rescue 33-55 and Marine 33-99 were dispatched to perform a swift water body recovery. The technical recovery operation took about two hours to recover the body. The police department is currently conducting the investigation on the body.
