BEACON (22 March 2007) - With the two vacancies created by Firefighters Moore and Dexter, Jr leaving, two recruit firefighters have been hired to backfill their vacant positions. Probie Dave Brewer, badge 32, and Probie Brian Davis, badge 33, were both sworn in today by City Mayor Clara LouGould. Both probies will be attending the 12 week long Westchester County Fire Academy located in Valhalla, Westchester County. They are due to graduate as career firemen and start their On-The-Job (OJT) training in June.
