BEACON (29 March 2007) - Career Firefighter Eric Frost and former City of Beacon, now Arlington Career Firefighter Joseph Moore were both awarded for their efforts in a CPR save of a heart attack patient. The victim is a director and one of the longest active members of the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the ambulance service who services the city. The victim, Carl Mortenson, prouldy presented the award to all of the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance, Alamo EMS, and City of Beacon Firefighters who participated in saving his life.

The awards were presented at the Dutchess County Exchange Clubs annual awards ceremony which awards the county emergency service personell who performed above and beyond their duty. The ceremoney this year was held at the Poughkeepsie City Grand Hotel.
