BEACON (6 May 2007) - At around 3:30p Dutchess 911 started receiving numerous calls for a reported large fight in progress with the possibility of two persons struck. Dutchess 911 than transmitted the auto pedestrian accident and sent Rescue 33-55 and Engine 33-11. While en route the county was also receiving calls that one person may have been stabbed at that scene, so Tower Ladder 33-45 was also assigned due to an undetermined amount of victims. Once the scene was secured by the Beacon PD, Car 33-1 (Chief Joseph) placed the companies to work and reported one victim with numerous stab wounds and two victims with injuries from being struck by a vehicle involved in the incident. Companies assisted EMS with the stabbing victim who sustained multiple stab wounds, one of which was serious. The stabbing victim was packaged and transported to an area hospital in "Not Likely" to expire condition. The two persons who were struck by the vehicle were in stable condition, one of which was a child with a serious head injury that had to be transferred from an area hospital to the Regional Trauma I Center, Westchester Medical Center.
