BEACON (4 December 2007) - The department's annual line officer election was conducted on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. During these elections, the membership elected the officers for the three companies while the department officers remained the same. The only exception was that the Chief appointed Andrew Phelps as the Rescue Captain.

At Station 1, the members elected John Pellot, the incumbent captain, as Captain of Station 1 for his forth term. They also elected Frank Merritt, Jr, who served as last years 2nd Lieutenant, as the 1st Lieutenant. Todd Pavlovic was elected as the 2nd Lieutenant.

At Station 2, the members also elected the incumbent captain, Mario Caparelli as the Station 2 Captain for his second term. Matt Smith was elected as 1st lieutenant for his second term. Kari Lahey was elected to 2nd Lieutenant for her first term. The 3rd lieutenants position remains vacant for this year.

At fire headquarters Mike Frederic, who has served as captain in the past, was elected to Captain. Chris Monroe, who served as last years 2nd Lieutenant, was elected as 1st Lieutenant. Also Dan Ciralli was elected for his first term as 2nd Lieutenant,
