BEACON (2 November 2010) - At around 10:30am Rescue 33-55 and Engine 33-11 were dispatched to the area of Verplanck and North Elm Street for a 2 car auto accident with unknown injuries. Upon arrival of Car 1 (33-1), Chief Joseph, he found a 2 car accident with one person entraped in a vehicle. The vehicle was struck on the passenger side and spun into a tree on the driver side.

Members quickly utlize a chain saw to cut down the tree and then utilized the Jaws of Life to remove both front doors. The patient was then packaged and transported by Beacon Volunteer Ambulance to an area hospital.
