FISHKILL (13 Feb 05) -  Members of the City of Beacon Fire Department participated in the area's annual Ice Water Rescue Drill. Beacon practiced using it's two Ice Water Exposure Suits removing victims who fell through the ice. The drill hosted by Rombout included area departments that operate on cold water rescues, which included City of Beacon, Glenham, Chelsea, and North Highlands from our neighboring county of Putnam.
