BEACON (16 Feb 06) - A steady day of calls was finished out with an interesting predicament. At about 9pm, the door bell rang at Station 2. When answered by the career firefighter on duty, he found a young couple at the door. The female half was in a bit of a predicament, she had handcuffed her self to celebrate the holiday. However when the couple tried to remove the handcuffs the key broke in the hand cuffs! So the quick thinking couple came to the station house hoping that the fire department could help them in this interesting predicament. Of course the quick thinking crew grabbed the bolt cutters off the engine and took care of the problem. Moral of the story, buy better hand cuffs -> LOL.
