BEACON (19 March 05)
- On Saturday, March 19, 2005 at about 11pm, a first alarm with Beacon Volunteer
Ambulance was transmitted for a report of a bathroom on fire at Hammond
Field. Upon arrival of Car 2 (33-2) and Ladder 33-45, fire was visible
from the second story of the
two story 30x30 storage building. The fire originated on the exterior of the building
in a portable bathroom and spread to the interior. One line was stretched
and the truck company opened the roof. The cause of the fire is suspicious
in origin and is being
investigated by the City of Beacon Fire Investigation Team.
