CHELSEA (29 April 01) - On Sunday, April 29 2001, Chelsea and Castle Point Fire Departments were dispatched to a possible structure fire at 7 Van Ness Road. Upon arrival of Chelsea Command he reported heavy fire through the roof of a private dwelling. Command requested a second alarm assignment bringing City of Beacon, Hughsonville, and Rombout to the scene along with Beacon Volunteer Ambulance. The fire took about 20 minutes to control and no injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation.
