BEACON (3/31/06)
- At about 5:30 in the afternoon, a first alarm was transmitted to the city for a structure fire with numerous calls at 326 Washington Ave. Upon arrival of Tower Ladder 33-45,
heavy fire was showing from the rear of a 1 story 20x20 private dwelling. On arrival of Engine 33-11, they streched two hand lines and quickly knocked down the fire. The fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes once comapnies arrived. Glenham was special called above the 1st alarm with one engine to cover the city. The fire is currenly under investigation by the city fire investigation unit.
