The City of Beacon Fire Department News Feed is a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) news feed. These news feeds are free content feeds from Web sites, including Firehouse.com. The advantage of them is that they contain article headlines, summaries and links back to full-text articles on the web. So in other words, you can have all you news stories go to one page, kind of like making a newspaper that only has articles you are interested in.
In order to get started you will need to get a "news aggregator," or the news paper. You can do this through many free services. Among these are YAHOO!, Google, ect. Click on one of the services below to get started:
