Officers

As in all fire departments and para-military organizations the department is built around the nation's adopted Incident Management System (IMS). The department is overseen by it's chief officers and then is broken down into various support and company officers. This allows the department to operate within the chain of command and in a more organized manner.

On the county level, the department falls into Battalion 7 of Dutchess County Emergency Response. Assigned to this battalion as the battalion chief is county car 17, Steven VanBuren. The battalion chief is responsible for acting as a liaison between the county and departments in the battalion.
